HISTORY
ALEXANDER’S WEAR traces its humble roots to 1956. A diligent Filipino-Chinese couple named MR. and MRS. UY AN started a company that manufactured basic white shirts. They did all the work – from sewing to cutting – and sold the goods in Ongpin, Manila.
With a lot of perseverance, hard work and an unwavering entrepreneurial drive, the small garments manufacturing company has grown to become one of the leaders in the local garments industry. What began as a husband and wife team with three machines evolved into a large work force backed up by hundreds of machines and numerous trusted subcontractors, able to produce 2,800 pieces of tops & bottoms on a daily basis.
